What is actually different

What changed between the two machines, in plain terms.

Immersive screen

The TM7’s larger display makes guided recipes easier to follow and icons more accessible for the whole family.

Quieter multitasking

Blend or knead without pausing conversations thanks to improved acoustic dampening.

Smarter accessories

The redesigned Varoma holds 45% more than the TM6's for multi-level steaming, and the optional Thermomix® Sensor extends guided cooking to the oven and hob.

Is the upgrade right for you?

Probably not, if your TM6 works and you are happy with it. That is the honest answer and it is the one most TM6 owners should hear. The TM7 is a better machine, but it is a refinement of one you already own rather than a different category of thing, and what it costs is the same from every advisor.

It is worth it if the bigger Varoma changes what you can cook at once, if you use Cookidoo® daily and the larger screen would genuinely change that, or if your TM6 is reaching the end of its life anyway. The Sensor probe extends guided cooking beyond the bowl, but it is sold separately and is not in the box.

Most TM6 accessories fit the TM7. Ask me what Vorwerk are currently offering on older machines rather than taking a number from a website, because that changes.
